For the past 10 years, I’ve had the privilege of working in the Early Years Sector, and I can truly say that, after 23 years in the Community Sector managing Employment and Disability Services, I’ve found my true passion—children’s education.

This is an area I deeply care about, and I’m excited to bring that enthusiasm to my role.
I am committed to creating a positive, safe, and enriching environment where every child can thrive, grow, and be challenged through play-based learning.
I firmly believe in open communication and collaboration, and I’m always here to listen and answer any questions you may have.

Our son has been attending the centre since before it transitioned to Froliq, which has given us a unique perspective on the changes that have taken place under the new ownership.

When we first enrolled him, we were made aware of a high staff turnover under the previous management and accepted that risk. However, the frequency of turnover was more than we anticipated. Since Froliq took over, we’ve noticed a significant improvement in staff stability. Educator roles are now clearly defined, with each room having a designated head teacher and supporting staff. This clarity gives us peace of mind, knowing exactly who we’re entrusting our son to each day.

Froliq also initiated a cosmetic transformation of the centre, including upgrades to the rooms. What stood out to us was the hands-on involvement of all staff members, including the Directors, in the renovation process. Witnessing this level of teamwork was genuinely refreshing and suggested a strong, collaborative culture that likely contributes to a nurturing environment for the children.

One of the most noticeable changes has been in our son’s learning development. Under the previous management, there was little emphasis on school readiness—he struggled with basic skills like holding a pencil. Conversations with educators at the time revealed a lack of focus on early literacy and writing. Since Froliq’s arrival, however, there’s been a clear shift toward educational quality and accountability. Our son has made remarkable progress and is now confidently reading letters and writing.

In light of recent concerns surrounding daycare centres, it’s a huge relief to know our son is in a safe, transparent, and supportive environment.

We’re extremely happy with Froliq and truly hope it continues to uphold its high standards.

We recently enrolled our little one at Froliq, and it’s been such a wonderful experience so far. The staff are incredibly warm and attentive, and they’ve helped our child settle in with ease. We are extremely happy with this childcare. The team is amazing—genuine, passionate, and truly dedicated to what they do. From day one, we felt like they are one big family, always caring, attentive, and focused on the well-being of the children.

After touring many childcare centres, we are so happy with our decision to choose Froliq for our little one. A few things that really stood out to us were the recently renovated centre with many play areas, the friendly and welcoming staff, and the well rounded program they offer. We also appreciate the healthy meals prepared fresh by their in house chef.

Our little one can’t stop talking about the exciting incursions they run, and we really love receiving regular updates from the centre. It has been a wonderful experience so far and we feel confident that our child is in great hands.

Consistency is key - as a first time parent, I initially felt the anxiety and nervousness any parent does when placing my son into care. We placed him at Froliq Werribee upon its initial opening and were saddened to have to move him due to distance. To our content, we were delighted to know the Froliq Brunswick opened up in such a prestigious and family orientated location.

The Froliq Brunswick centre was renovated in Froliq's unique warm and welcoming style with state of the facilities and staff friendliness to match. Both Judy and Will made my son's transition feel seamless easing any worries. With their welcoming personalities and ability to immediately engage my son into Froliq Brunswick, as first time parents, we knew this where we wanted our son to be.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does child care cover?

All guardians listed in our system is allowed to pick up your child from our centre.
If for some reason you or any other guardian aren’t able to pick your child up on a certain day, just give the centre a call and let us know who will be picking them up.

What time can I pick up and drop off my child?

Our operating hours are between 7am – 6pm from Monday to Friday, so anytime between is fine.

Can my child bring their own toys to childcare?

We have a treasure trove of toys here at the Centre! It’s like a wonderland for your little ones.
We kindly request that children leave their toys at home. This helps us avoid any lost or broken toys, and keeps
everything fair for all our friends, and allows our Educators to keep their focus where it matters most – on our wonderful children!

How will I know about my child's activities for the day?

We will keep you updated throughout the day via the OWNA app with details on your child’s activities such as:

– What they ate and how much;
– When they used the bathroom or had a nappy change;
– When/if they had a nap and what time they woke up;
– Activity highlights of the day.
Oh! and we’ll post lots of photos of them for you to see.

What if my child is on medication?

Educators can only administer medication prescribed by a doctor. They cannot administer non-prescription drugs or dietary supplements unless the service is provided with written authorisation by a doctor.
Medication can only be administered to a child by Educators from its original packaging with pharmacy instruction sticker.
On arrival at the Centre, families must give medication to Educators for safe storage and complete a medication authorisation form. Under no circumstances should medication be left in children’s bags.

What if my child has asthma or an allergy?

It is vital that we are aware of any allergies or asthma. Families are required to explain any allergy or asthma on the enrolment form as well as provide us with the diagnosis from the doctor. The Centre has a procedure for the staff follow to mitigate exposure to allergies.
The Centre requires an Action Plan filled in by your Doctor to assist in managing your child’s needs. The Action Plan is to be updated every 6 months.

Can I pack food for my child to bring to childcare?

For the health and safety of all the children at our Centre, outside food is not permitted to be brought in.
But don’t worry we provide nutritional food your child will love. Our menus consist of healthy and balanced meals that use fresh, seasonal produce. This encourages children to develop a positive attitude towards trying new foods. Your child can get involved in special cooking experiences too.

What do I need to pack for my child?

We’ll provide some of the essentials, so you don’t have to, such as:

Bed sheets; Formula; Nappies; Wipes; Food and drinks

What we do ask you to bring is the following: For under 2 years

Nappy rash cream; Dummies; Bottles & Teats; Comfort Toy / Blanket; Sun hat (we’ll gift you one when you enrol); 2x Spare outfits (including socks and jumper); Wet/dirty clothes bag (another gift from us)

For above 2 years

Water bottle or sippy cup; Sun hat; Closed-toe shoes; 2x Spare outfits (including socks, underwear and jumper); Wet/dirty clothes bag (another gift from us); Blanket

Am I allowed to provide expressed milk?

Yes, the nursery room educator will be able to assist you with this during your orientation.
